The TREND VISION AWARD is an annual Wella competition which offers young hairdressers the opportunity to show their potential as hair artists by creating their personal interpretation of the current trends based on Wella Trend Vision.
The competition is open to all beauty salons. A salon must be represented by one team, composed of 1 stylist and 1 assistant who are employees of the salon and who are not more than 30 years old by October 2007, plus one model (either female or male). The salon team must select a trend concept from Wella Trend Vision 2007 and create an interpretation of the chosen trend (hairstyle, appropriate make-up, clothes and accessories).
Salon teams enter the competition by sending in their completed application forms together with "before" and "after" photographs of their respective models. Deadline for photo entries is May 15, 2007. Salon teams which have best interpreted the current Trend Vision Concepts will be selected and invited to participate in the National Finals.
During the National Finals, the selected teams will be presented together with their models and the National Trend Vision Award Winner will be chosen.
Deadline for TV entries is June 15, 2007.
The International Trend Vision Award 2007 will be held on October 28, 2007 in Barcelona, Spain.
